First Aid Training: What You Need to Know

First aid training is important for a variety of jobs in the city. Those in the healthcare industry are required to have this certification to practice. Other applications include community care, law enforcement and education. What are the requirements?

In Melbourne, applicants must be at least 18 years old to take the course. In other territories and states, minors can also apply, given that they submit a consent form from their parent or guardian. How long does it last?

The total number of classroom sessions should total 7.5 hours. However, candidates are required to complete a total of 7.5 hours of online learning. Students must pass a written exam and practical test to complete the course.
